I was watching the game @ the Double tree Hotel Bar, appropriately name the "Standing O" which is at Broad And Locust. I got out of there when people started scaling the traffic light poles, I love your take on the events and glad you didn't get hurt. of course seeing a bunch of Drunken revelers getting pummeled by the Philly cops would have been funny as hell. and to agree with Frank they should publish your story it really tells the tale. But the more I hear about last night, the worse it gets. Boston was pretty rowdy, but not quite this bad. I'm pretty disappointed. That really tells the story of the idiots from a journalist's view. Excellent, as always. I was at Broad and Walnut until about 11...and it was still fun. I read today that an idiot who was standing on the SEPTA booth when the top caved in was knocked out for 45 minutes and they couldn't get paramedics there. I'm good with an ass whoopin for those idiots who break things. I'll be at the parade tomorrow...actually I'll be at the stadium. It's gonna be great.
