Sofa Kingdom

Apparently, they're the most dominant quizzo team in all of Philadelphia… ever. I met them at The Bards last Thursday to document their dominance over the field. I was shooting them for this story in this week's PW.
They won after a tiebreaker question (What year was Clark Gable born? They answered 1902). The shot above is the whole team talking over an answer to a question. I just posted a shot of them just before the answer to the tiebreaker was announced (1901). The night's prize of $40 to The Bards added to their $5k+ in winnings for the year. That's not a typo, over five THOUSAND dollars.
This was – amazingly – the first time I went to quizzo in my 3.5 years in Philly. It was fun and I was answering questions in my head all night long. Johnny Goodtimes was there hosting. I had never seen him before, but I knew it was him when I saw him. You just know. Also, he was carrying a laptop and a speaker.
I can't wait to go pick up a few copies of the paper to see the shot in print. Cool.

Looks like you had fun!
(Also, I'm surprised you haven't been to Quizzo… you seem like you would enjoy it!)

Hey, I was just admiring that shot in the PW. I had no idea it was yours.
