3rd Place: Metro Global Photo Challenge – Philly

I came in third place in the Metro Global Photo Challenge for Philly. I don't like losing. I'm happy. But not as happy as I would be if I won. One judge had this to say:
With this photograph Albert Yee has managed to fight his way through the chaos of the Mummers Day parade and find a moment quieter than most. A difficult thing to find on a day such as that.
The photos are on p14 of today's Metro. Congrats to Steve and Jason. I've met Steve before on the trip up to the top of the Comcast Center and he's a regular contributor to Phillyskyline.
Third out of a few thousand, not bad.

Statistsically, you placed in the highest percentile! Think of it that way. And great photo, it does look as though you've captured the only peaceful moment of the mummer's parade.
