Google Mobile OS

Things that would make me leave evil Verizon Wireless: a really cool phone with a Google OS. That may happen during the second half of next year according to this NYT article. The phones would be available on Sprint and T-Mobile on handsets developed by HTC [woohoo!], LG, Samsung, Motorola and maybe some others.

The NYT also had a cool article on the guy behind the making of the OS, Andy Rubin from yesterday. Robots are cool.

My Verizon Wireless contract is up in the middle of next year. My past experience with Sprint will keep me away from them. I'll have to look into T-Mobile some more. I can't wait to see what this OS looks like.

I have an even better reason to want to dump verizon… I still remember all those asswipe Republican conventioneers (2000) strutting around with their swag-bags provided by, and proudly displaying the Verizon logo. Bastards, lying freakin' Bastards… Sorry, I have issues, I know.
