I didn't have the time to post this photo I took of the pumpkin I carved for Halloween which once looked like this. The above photo is from Halloween evening, one week after the initial carving.

After a week of warm weather followed by rain followed by freezing cold and howling wind (which knocked the pumpkin off of it's table outside), it looked like this. With a big crack running down its face and a dried up mouth splitting open the thinned crust of the pumpkin. Looked pretty gnarly to me.
