There's Chuck Pennacchio on the phone with Thom Hartman in the other room.

Thom and Chuck were talking about machine politics and how corporate interests have taken over our politcs. The conversation moved onto how Bob Casey was selected to be the candidate [as determined by the upper ups on the national level] and how the DLC strategy has done a terrible disservice to our country and our democracy. Thom brought up Harry Truman's quote that:

Given the choice between a Republican and someone who acts like a Republican, people will vote for the real Republican all the time.

And I couldn't agree more.

Voting for Chuck Pennacchio in the PA primary tomorrow will send the message that we want our Democratic party back here in PA. Only a candidate like Chuck Pennacchio can stand up to Sen. Man on Dog mano a man-on-dog.
