North Coast Brewing Co. Old No. 38 Stout

Another deliciously smooth beer. I drank this one two nights ago [I think - the days are all melting together with all this sleep I'm getting lately] after getting all my stuff done for the day.
North Coast Brewing Co.'s Old No. 38 Stout is an easy drink with a crisp bite. Getting towards the bottom of my Pac Man glass [Mark's favorite!] I got a nice whiff of a molasses-y fragrance. The website calls it a "toasted character and coffee notes of dark malts and roasted barley" — molasses-y.
I don't know if it was because I was glad to be done for the night or if it was just that good, but I couldn't let it sit there and mellow, I drank it up very quickly. I'd very much like to pick up a 6-pack of this one the next time I'm back at the Foodery.
