philly

I've passed by this little mess of pipe cleaners and yarn [I think that's yarn or twine?] several time. Mostly without my camera [hard to believe]. But I had my camera on me yesterday as I passed by and stopped to take a pic. It's a funky little art piece and it's been up there since the 2005 Fringe Festival. I have no idea the story behind the piece nor the artist, but I think it's cool. There's another piece sorta like this, but I think in more of a spiderweb pattern over around Arch/3rd Sts. I'll have to look around to see if I have a pic of it.

The writing on that tag reads:

It's on 12th St around Spruce St. Anyone know more details on this thing?
