		<description>Faxes have been getting faser. I think my first fax / modem faxed at 1200 bps--that was about 20 years ago. My first modem got me on the internet at 300 bps. 

It is hard to believe I bought my first personal computer--an Osborne I--in the fall of 1982.</description>
