The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration has some aerial shots of the hurricane damage areas of the Gulf Coast. Above, are two gigantic fishing vessels dumped onto a highway along with at least a dozen smaller boats behind it. Click on the image for a supersize 2032px by 1354px version.
Due to high demand, their full aerial survey is offline, but they're in the process of bringing it back up. Their weather sensing devices are also offline down in the New Orleans area. The weather report for new Orleans, I'm not sure how recent this data is, calls for a chance of thunderstorms today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. Their "current observations" read as NULL.
